Mike is the founder and owner of Doland Jewelers. He started the business in 1986 following an art teaching career.
His focus from the start was custom design and exceptional customer service. The business has grown from a small shop in Bellevue, IA to the two store location it has become.

Lou Ann's hobbies include shopping, shopping, and shopping. If you are in the mood to do some jewelry shopping, Lou Ann is here to help. Or if you want to quiz Lou Ann on classic cars, you will surely come away quite impressed.
Lou Ann has been in the jewelry industry since 1990.

Kaitlin appreciates unique jewelry that stands out in a crowd, and particularly loves helping clients that are genuinely wanting to express their love through a beautiful ring.
Kaitlin loves diamonds and is a self-proclaimed color expert. Ask her to recite all 29 colors of Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
A born and raised farm girl with a Loras college education, Kaitlin proves that girls know how to get work done.
Kaitlin has been rocking it at Doland Jewelers since 2011.

Lila's hobbies include collecting pets and anything covered in glitter. She is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional. So when it comes to jewelry, Lila knows her stuff.
Lila is also happy to schmooze with anyone and everyone.

Not only is Nick no longer allowed near a jeweler's torch for safety reasons, he also boasts the largest ears in the company - please don't stare. It make him feel self-conscious.
Nick joined Doland Jewelers in 2011 following a career as a high school history teacher.
Nick is a graduate of diamond grading from the Gemological Institute of America.
Bench Jeweler
Mostly an iced coffee enthusiast, but also a jeweler sometimes. Allen started at Doland Jewelers in 2016 working alongside and under the instruction of his father, Blaise.
In his free time, Allen enjoys mostly eating - but occasionally cooking - vegan food, drawing and creating artwork, collecting vinyl records, and the periodic late night Netflix binge.
As Allen looks to the future, he hopes to reach and move beyond his father's level of skill so everyone remembers his name instead.
Bench Jeweler
Blaise has been at the jewelry bench since 1982.
He jokes he is half as old as diamonds but under the same amount of pressure as the stones he sets.
Blaise enjoys rocking out to Bruce Springsteen, bowling, golfing, and supporting unmentioned MLB teams ownership is unwilling to endorse on this website.
Considered life of party until his son, Allen, shows up!

Prepare to get schooled in pool when Faith is playing. This shark has been with Doland Jewelers for the better part of a year.
Faith came to Dolands after years of owning and operating a bar and grill.

Tom has been in the jewelry industry over 40 years, and he may quite literally be the last watchmaker...anywhere. It's with this false sense of entitlement that Tom feels he is allowed to eat anyone's leftovers from the fridge.
In his free time, Tom spends much of his time playing with his grandson, Noah.

The newest member of our team in Davenport, Gillian has worked at Dolands since September of 2023. From that point on, she has been working hard learning the quirks of the staff, growing her jewelry knowledge, slinging diamonds, and begging one of the Doland brothers to get her bio on the website. While sapphires and diamonds are her go-to, Gillian is ready to help you pick out your next statement piece, be it traditional of the newest fashion in jewelry. With her attention to detail, Gillian is also ready to tackle your custom creation, bringing your vision to life in jewelry just for you.

Emily is the voice of reason and sanity in our merry band of misfits. She spends her free time with her two girls and butt dialing her emergency contact Will.
Emily is an AJP (Applied Jewelry Professional) from the Gemological Institute of America and has graced us with her presence since 2011.

Will enjoys starting conversations half way through them because he just had the whole conversation in his head and forgets that no one has ESP. He also has many opinions but he has to check with his wife Crystal to find out what those opinions are.
Will is a Graduate Gemologist and has art degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He has worked at the family business for over 20 years.

Don't let Brian's intimidating form fool you, he really is THAT scary...for a teddy bear. He is a classic rock and "old" country music aficionado and his salsa is not for the faint of heart.
As one of the best craftsman in the business, Brian's skill behind the bench is masterful.
Brian has spent over 32 years as a bench jeweler.

Make sure to turn your hearing aids down before you come in and talk to Mike. His boisterous attitude and penchant for not being aware that customers are in the store often get the back room door closed on him.
He is an exceptional hand fabricator and excels at setting "really tiny" diamonds.
Mike has been behind the bench for over 26 years.
